This ecosystem map was developed by Response Innovation Lab (RIL) and Save the Children as part of a project focusing on four thematic areas: teacher training, inclusive education promotion, nutrition screening and resilience of rural communities. It is therefore not comprehensive of the whole South Sudan humanitarian innovation ecosystem. Entries were added based on research by teams from both organizations and through a combination of document reviews (e.g. Cluster 5Ws and NGO network lists), in-person referrals and internet searches. While most organizations included have a physical presence in South Sudan, some are based externally but have established connections to this ecosystem. All information included is pulled from public sources, primarily the organizations own websites or facebook pages. Tags were applied based on global RIL methodology and on information provided publicly by the organizations.
